Brisket and Lo Bok Chow Mein Recipe

Ingredients
1 pound brisket, thinly sliced
1 pound Chinese Lo Bok (or daikon radish), julienned
6 ounces Chow Mein Noodles
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon white pepper
1/4 teaspoon sugar
1/4 cup vegetable oil
Directions

1. Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the brisket and stir-fry until browned.

2. Add the Chinese Lo Bok and stir-fry for 2 minutes, or until softened.

3. Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, white pepper, and sugar. Stir to combine.

4. Add the Six Fortune Chow Mein Noodles and stir-fry until heated through.

5. Serve immediately.

 

Tips:

You can use any type of brisket for this dish.

If you don’t have Chinese Lo Bok, substitute with daikon radish or celery root.

Adjust the amount of soy sauce and oyster sauce to your taste.

Serve with your favourite stir-fry sauce or hot sauce.
